Project 351 Ambassadors Brooklyn Elzy, Brooklyn Taylor, and Alaina Purcell

Three NMRSD Middle School students, representing Ashby, Pepperell, and Townsend, will serve as service ambassadors for the statewide Project 351 this year.

The Grade 8 students -- Alaina Purcell of Ashby and Brooklyn Taylor of Townsend, who attend Hawthorne Brook Middle School, and Brooklyn Elzy of Pepperell, who attends Nissitissit Middle School -- attended the Project 351 kickoff at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Jan. 25.

Adam Manni - J&J Scholarship

n partnership with the Close Up Foundation, Johnson & Johnson is providing scholarships to nine students — one from each of Massachusetts’ nine congressional districts — to participate in the Close Up Washington Program.

Manni, who is from Pepperell, was notified of his acceptance on Jan. 27.
