Wake Up and Work Out Program
Join Ms. Delaney and Mr. Caravella before school Mondays through Thursdays at 7:30AM for fitness, fun, and smiles by the miles. Ms. Delaney will lead the walking club through the hallowed halls of HB on Monday -Thursday to work on our cardiovascular fitness. Mr. Caravella will do fitness in the gym on Mondays and Wednesdays, which includes kettlebells, battle ropes, poly-boxes, and free weights. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the gym, it will be games and team sports for the athlete in all of us. This program is open and free to all students in grades 5-8, and teachers too!
The Homework Club is an after school opportunity for students who would benefit from a structured setting, with a HB staff member available to support them, as they worked on homework, studying, or long term projects. We have found this to be very worthwhile for some middle school students because it can take away some of the usual stress that comes with homework time at home for a couple of days per week. This is a cost share program. The sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-4 PM and run in approximately 5-6 week periods. Contact Ms. Dupuis or Ms. Morales for more information. Click here for more information and a permission slip.
Join Ms. Audette every other Wednesday as our robotics club prepares for their robotics competition. Click here for a permission slip and more information.
The Townsend Recreation ski program is at Wachusett Mountain on Thursdays nights. The ski times will be - depart HB 2:45PM and arrive back at HB about 8 – 8:15PM.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Bill Burg at email@example.com, or 603-765-6951. You can also get questions answered on the Wachusett web site or by contacting them directly.
