HBMS Announcements 

Hawthorne Brook is conducting S.T.E.A.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Day on June 3rd, 2016.  The vision for S.T.E.A.M. Day is to demonstrate how real-life, fulfilling, important careers blend science, technology,engineering, artistry, and math. Hawthorne Brook needs volunteers (individuals or companies) who are willing to donate toward or participate in our S.T.E.A.M. event on June 3rd.  If you (or your company) are available, collaborative, and enjoy helping children learn about the world and discover options available to them, please consider making a monetary donation or a donation of your time!

To volunteer or simply get more information, please contact Judy Brown at: jbrown@nmrsd.org. Planning meetings are scheduled for 3:00 pm and should last no more than one hour on the following dates: April 27th and May 25th. If you can’t make the meetings, you can still participate.

HBMS Summer Camp

3-D Printer for HBMS
Mr Roy has put together a Donors Chose campaign in hopes of purchasing a 3-D printer for HBMS!  If you'd like to contribute towards the purchase, donations can be made here
Homework Club
HB offers a homework club for students after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click here for the dates and permission slip for the last session of the school year.

Math Mondays
Interested in becoming a Mathlete? Want to train for future success in math while having fun developing your higher order thinking skills? Come join the Math Club!

Coca-Cola Products
HB is collecting Coke Caps and Boxends.  Coke offers us a long list of free items.  We have already turned in 10,338 points this school year for gym supplies including: Frisbees, footballs, soccer balls and more.  Students may leave their caps in the collection box in the cafeteria next to the flip tab collection box.
